hi, im ally. i am not Deaf, i am hearing. i am also not a CODA. i began learning ASL when i was in middle school, and it progressed from there. :) i graduated from Baylor University in 2010 majoring in Deaf Education and I am teaching Deaf Ed. :) I am also a CERTIFIED BASIC LEVEL interpreter! :) i have a VERY strong passion for ASL and the Deaf. i strongly believe that music should be widely accessible to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, just as it is to Hearing. for this to be possible, it is essential that the music and lyrics are both signed using accurate ASL structure and features. i try my best, but i am not perfect, and i don't claim to be. Though ASL is extremely beautiful and interesting, it is important to remember WHERE and WHO ASL came from... the Deaf.
