Body Positive Yoga is low-pressure, judgment-free yoga for bigger bodies, creaky joints, and beginners. Created by Amber Karnes (hi! that's me!) in 2010, Body Positive Yoga (lots more at bodypositiveyoga.com) is about my discoveries, struggles, reflections, and breakthroughs in the journey of making peace with my body through yoga, and helping others to do the same. On this channel, you’ll also find tips, tricks, and modifications to make yoga work for your unique body, instead of trying to squish yourself into a pose. Body Positive Yoga has been my primary work until 2020, when I started showing up more in a supporting role within the wider Accessible Yoga community (and creating less content as a result). I am now supporting folks in the yoga world and beyond as a project midwife to bring their creative projects and events to life. Some changes will be coming to this youtube channel as I show you some of these other projects I've been working on. Stay tuned!
