Hi, I'm Anna, welcome to my channel where I make videos on folklore, mythology, fairy tales and legends - mostly from the Nordic or Scandinavian region! I'm originally Australian, but lived in Northern Norway (Finnmark) for many years, where I fell in love with Norwegian & wider Nordic folklore, mythology and stories - and I'm now currently based in the UK. I can read Norwegian which also allows me to read a lot of Swedish and Danish, so I always try to include information not otherwise available to English speakers - there are so many great stories only available in Scandinavian languages! Please note I usually use the Norwegian names, pronunciation and terms in my videos as that's what I'm most familiar with - but there are always different regional variations.
