Hi, I’m April and I live and breathe creativity. I am a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and music educator with a B.M. in Professional Music from Berklee College of Music, 10 years of teaching experience, and my head in the clouds. I am curious about everything all the time. I dream in vivid colors, can solve a Rubik’s Cube in 2 minutes, and always go out of my way to pet a stray cat. Songwriting is my favorite thing on this or any other planet and I write constantly, leading with creative curiosity and mindfulness. As a musician, I love to explore storytelling through unusual harmony, literary devices, sonic connection, and sense-driven imagery. I believe that everyone can, and should, make art, so I work hard to make the craft of songwriting as accessible as possible. It’s lovely to have you here and I hope you’ll join my community of sweet little misfits.
