ASGARD
We are Asgard, the Viking Jewellery makers based on the west coast of Scotland. We are passionate about the Viking Age, and work hard to create jewellery and apparel in the styles of that time. Whether it is replica object created the same way as those of 1000 years ago, modern jewellery inspired by those designs, or modern clothing and apparel that reflects the aesthetic of the Viking Age, there is something for all Viking enthusiasts at Asgard. The company is the result of the hard work of Jim and Catriona Glazzard. Jim is an experimental archaeologist, and Viking-age researcher, currently working on a PhD at the University of York, focussed on non-ferrous metalworker's of the Viking Age. Catriona is the business brains of Asgard, and is a textiles enthusiast, specialising in the recreation of Viking-age naalbinded and tablet woven objects.
