Hey there! I'm Erin K. Courtney, the food junkie behind Chef Erin's Kitchen. On my channel, you'll find a variety of videos to check out. Most of them are food related, a good number of videos covering our HUGE home renovation, and also some random videos of life in South Carolina. I didn't grow up learning how to cook, but a cake decorating class taken in 2011 ignited a passion that I was unaware existed. This led to culinary school in 2013, then changing careers from working in real estate to the food service industry as a chef. Most everything I started learning how to cook were desserts and the Standard American Diet, until I was forced to change the quality of what I was eating after being diagnosed with IBS, SIBO, and Gastritis. Between Intermittent Fasting and a 90% Whole Foods/Plant Based Diet, my system has healed and I am able to eat those traditional recipes I loved. My recipe library is truly a melting pot. Watch out for my warped sense of humor. You've been warned.
