Ideas do not exist. If you think long and hard about one, sketch, plan and talk about, you are working on a actual project. My name is Sandro Perotto and I am crafting Endra. Somewhere between fishing boats on the North Sea, feluccas on the Nile and lateen sailers in Madagascar, reverie ended up in that project. I stood under a mango tree in the Comoros, drew the dimensions of the boat with a piece of a branch, 2.5m wide 7m long and imagined leaving shore behind on the deck of this small cutter into the Indian Ocean. Follow my endeavour to build a wooden boat!
