Established as far back as 1898 in Warrington, Cheshire, Dawsons Music & Sound can proudly lay claim to being one of the oldest musical instrument retailers in the UK. Founder John Dawson was a piano tuner by trade who recognised the need to provide quality instruments to his clientele, thus Dawsons Music was born. Since its inception the company has embraced emerging trends, going on to expand its range of musical instruments beyond that of acoustic pianos to include everything from the humble harmonica to venue-ready PA gear, ukuleles to synthesizers incorporating bleeding-edge technology, and everything between. From humble beginnings, Dawsons Music & Sound now boasts a leading online retail business, as well as an Education Department that caters to schools, colleges, and universities around the world. However, the fundamental ethos of the company remains as true today as it ever has, and that is to provide excellent customer service.
