This channel is for people living with (any type) diabetes, anywhere, welcome. My name is Christel Oerum and I’ve been living with type 1 diabetes since 1997. I always struggled to find easily accessible information about diabetes online, so in 2015 I decided to create the Diabetes Strong website and YouTube channel, where I could share my own experience and invite experts from the diabetes community to contribute. My ?? is empowering people living with diabetes to live full healthy lives, just as I do, but not necessarily the same way as I do. Individualized care is the key to success and I aim to give you the resources you need to make an informed choice on what’s right for you.
