This is the part where I’m supposed to wow you with my expertise, so here goes… I taught English at the university, in language academies, published 10 books (both ESL textbooks and fiction novels) and organized Spain’s very first Edu-Con and EDE Awards (awards for best digital educators in Spain). Underneath all the professional layers I’m a proud cat mom, an avid knitter, and an experimental baker. YouTube is a side gig to complement teaching and give my books a little more exposure. I’m also a language nerd, so I started learning Spanish when I was thirteen and my journey never really stopped since. When I eventually moved to Spain and started teaching in 2008, all the puzzle pieces started falling into place. I’m an expat, but Spain (somehow) feels like home.
