Ford Brewer MD MPH started as an emergency doctor. It became clear that most disease & disability was preventable. He went to Hopkins for training, did well & ended up running the program in teaching preventive medicine. He's been the CMO, or helped run the preventive medical teams containing thousands of doctors, NPs & PAs. He founded PrevMed, where we are currently helping hundreds of people prevent heart attacks, strokes, Alzheimer's, disability and cancer. At PrevMed, we reduce patient risk through attentive care and state-of-the-art genetic testing, imaging, labs and telemedicine options. We serve patients who have already experienced disease as well as those have not developed a diagnosis or event. Our team of senior clinicians includes internationally recognized leaders in the research and treatment of cardiovascular disease, preventive medicine and wellness.
