Hello! My name is Jennifer (Jen) and I am an artist and art educator. Welcome to my channel! I have been teaching secondary visual arts since 2009. Drawing and painting is my speciality, but I love visual arts in its entirety. My channel started as a place where I would post demonstrations and tutorials for my high school students, but as it started to gain a little more attention from other viewers I decided to cater my videos to anyone that may be interested in learning more about drawing, painting and different pathways to creativity. I am passionate about teaching skills and techniques along with the process of making art so that my students feel empowered to make their own artistic choices. In addition to teaching high school, I also teach drawing and painting classes virtually to adults via Zoom.
