Kayley Whalen
Kayley is a trans & nonbinary autistic advocate, writer, and digital media specialist. She competed in the Miss International Queen 2020 pageant as Miss USA. In 2019, while living in Southeast Asia, she started the blog TransWorldView to provide a forum to share the stories of transgender community leaders from across Asia and the world. As of summer 2021 she is traveling in Latin America and the Caribbean to record and document more stories of transgender leaders. Kayley has represented the LGBTQ and disability communities as a public speaker at events across the U.S. and the world, including speaking twice at the Obama White House. In 2016 she co-founded Trans United Fund, the first U.S. trans-led political campaigning organization. Kayley is a digital marketing consultant who has led digital campaigns for non-profits including Greenpeace USA, Autistic Women & Nonbinary Network, Sins Invalid, Search for Common Ground, the National LGBTQ Task Force, and Casa Ruby LGBT Center.
