This channel is different. Rather than make a channel AFTER the weight loss...this channel is taking you along with me from the beginning. This is about the journey...raw and real. Aging is not for the faint of heart...it's a journey, and one that needs to be navigated with grace, confidence and humor! Taking back our health (and weight) after 50 is quite a challenge. (to say the least) BUT this gal has HAD IT. I am a research junkie, and came to realize the keto way seems to be the intelligent, safe, most sustainable (for life kinda thing) for me. I have metabolic syndrome, and all that goes with that..one of which is insulin resistance. I know I must have a fatty liver due to where I gain my weight. I am the heaviest I have ever been in my life! I also have fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (I was diagnosed in 2007) Hashimotos (comes and goes), and chronic back pain since in my 20's. ALL of this adds up to ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
