As a licensed mortgage broker in Canada for over 15 years, I have seen mortgage lending evolve with tightening rules and regulations to protect Canadians from financial harm. Being and independent mortgage broker, working outside of the banks gives me not only a broad perspective on real estate financing, but the freedom to truly advise my clients without bias to one bank or mortgage lender. In August of 2021, I made the transition to become the first mortgage broker licensed in Saskatchewan with Verico Xeva Mortgage based in British Columbia.
