We are building a log cabin with logs we harvest and peel ourselves.This is our first time to build a log cabin so we will probably make some mistakes along the way. If all goes well, the plan is to use it as a vacation rental as part of our semi-retirement plan! We live near Hot Springs, Arkansas, so it is a beautiful area. Lake Ouachita is only 4 miles away.There is so much to do here, boating, kayaking, hiking, fishing, and mountain biking. Our videos will cover the cabin build from start to finish. We are using the full scribe method. We are also peeling our own logs and making use of smaller logs for floor joists, rafters and furniture. Cinda is an artist so she will be featuring some of her wildlife art as part of the cabin decor. Our cabin is now available to rent on Airbnb!!
