Life at Leigh
In 2020, just as Covid was spreading worldwide, my wife (Tamsin) and I (Patrick) gave up our jobs in London and ran for the hills. Leaving London had always been on our agenda since we were both more suited to country life, but the place we found to live was an entirely different world to what we were used to. Leigh Cottage used to be the maid and gamekeeper's cottage way back when, how far back we aren't sure. It's nestled in a remote spot on Exmoor, surrounded by beautiful countryside and not a lot else. We are both active and adventurous, we like to do things ourselves, although not always perfect, our way of life means that we get stuck in on most jobs. We are now a family of four, six if you include the kids! We have Remi our eldest, Sonny the baby, Dakota the dog and Winston the cat. This channel is to allow you to share our world with us, the good and the bad, our adventures and our ways of getting by when living in a remote spot.
