English couple restoring house and garden in rural France. We're Brook and Rebecca and together with our young son we moved from the UK to the Loire, France in August 2020. In 2021, three became four as we welcomed our second son into the world. Watch us as we slowly bring the houses and garden back to their best (after 3 years uninhabited!) alongside exploring this wonderful region with our growing family. We aim to restore the buildings and garden as sympathetically as possible. We want to create a low-impact homestead however we are on a tight budget so everything has to be done ourselves and reusing materials we already have wherever possible.
