Managing My Money with Rosa
I am in my 40's and am starting to feel the $$ crunch as retirement is quickly approaching. Though I have always budgeted I never actually named where each dollar was going. This meant when something came up and I didn't have cash ready to spend I had to pull it from somewhere else. I never liked that feeling and even got stressed out when an unexpected bill came up that had to be paid. Hence, we have little savings :( AAAHHH!!! Retirement is a whole different layer of stress for me. I do not want to rely on the little bit of social security and retirement funds I have through my employer. I know they are NOT going to be enough to live the life I desire. Naming each dollar by using cash envelopes and sinking funds, my money stress level has lowered some. Investing has helped me intentionally save for my future and gain an additional income, lowering the looming retirement crunch. This channel is about my money journey and finally feeling more financially secure.
