Hello there, my name is Matt and I love wood. That's about it really... But, if you came here to know more about me and what you can get from this channel, hopefully the following information will tickle your nipples... I come from 5 years experience at Rycotewood Furniture Centre, a furniture school based in Oxford, UK where I learnt everything from basic hand techniques, to material theory, to advanced machining techniques. Alongside this, I also sacrificed my weekends to work at Axminster Tools and Machinery in Basingstoke for 5 years which gave me a deep understanding of tools and manufacturers. But most importantly, what information woodworkers are ACTUALLY SEEKING when it comes to hands on work, or simply buying the right tool for the job. My intensive experience at both Axminster and Rycotewood supplemented each other beautifully over those 5 years. I now teach at Rycotewood and on the side splurge all my knowledge and experiences on YouTube for your benefit.
