Hi Everyone. My name is David and I am based in the North West of England where I have my own home workshop, restoring and refinishing Vintage Furniture. I have always loved doing DIY, crafting, building, fixing and restoring things and I got the opportunity to leave a stressful 30 year career in the Water Industry back in 2020, just as the Pandemic hit!! After much thought I started my business, Mayfield Restorations where i can follow my passion. My goal is to find old, worn out and unloved pieces of furniture and by either restoring or restyling them, give them a new life for many years to come. I source through, Marketplace, thrift shops and wherever I can find these forgotten pieces of furniture and once restored, I sell via Etsy. I also do many customer commissions. Everything you see me do is completely self taught and Youtube has been a large part of this process. My aim for this channel is to pass along what I have learnt and I am still learning. Thanks David
