My Victory Garden or how I spent over $1000 to grow tomatoes
This is my story of my experiences in the world of gardening. I am experimenting and learning all the time. Probably making more mistakes and failures than successes. However, like all hobbies they become an obsessive money pit. You tend to not plan on spending so much money often for little results. However, you seem to have fun while spending all that money. Plus, gardening is very addictive because if you only try one more thing it will lead to greater success and satisfaction. However, more often than not you still make more mistakes. We don't garden because its cheaper to grow your own food. For what we spend on equipment its cheaper to go to the store. We do it because its primal, since the dawn of man. We try to fight the elements and control our destiny more than getting a fresh tomato to eat.
