Welcome! I'm Jason, an outdoor/ overland gear dork who really loves the industry. I've been camping since I was a kid and while I'm mostly in the Overlanding world now I was raised popup camper-ing and throughout college I was able to still enjoy my passion while I was on a tight budget. As I get older I enjoy a bit more of the nicer things while I'm out in the back country but I still find use for the budget gear that has withstood the test of time. You'll see a mix of both here. I started Youtube to share some of my years of knowledge about camping with everyone. I love learning new things in the comments section from people with great advice. New ideas are ALWAYS welcome! I'm here to share gear as well as taking you guys along for the ride when I go on adventures. Born in the Appalachian mountains and moved out to Rockies a few years ago. I've learned that while it is somewhat different terrain, views in different locations people go out to the back country for the same reasons.
