Hello, My name is Steve but for many years in school, I was simply called Putnut. I am in my mid 50's and about 15 years of my life has been in foodservice, either as a cook or meat cutter & manager. I love to cook and have been cooking since I was a young teen. When I was younger, I could eat all I want and never gain a pound but late in my 20's, when I quit smoking, I lost that ability. I blew up to almost 300 lbs by July 2020. It was then that my wife dragged me kicking & screaming into the keto "diet". At first, I wasn't too into it, but butter, bacon, what's not to like, right? After a couple weeks and 10-12 pounds lighter, I was sold. I began doing research into the keto way of eating and how to cook the things I still wanted from my past ways of eating.
