Fiercely independent, the band presents a quirky Americana, with Zen-like anthems in a universe entirely of their own making. The Slambovians charm from the first note, led by visionary songwriter Joziah Longo with graceful ‘slide’-man Sharkey McEwen (guitar, mandolin) and multi-instrumentalist Tink Lloyd (accordion, cello, flute, etc). This is a band that connects with the audience on a tribal level… absolutely 'Slambovian.' A Very Unusual Head is the band's 6th studio album out January 2022 on the first release on Storm King Records domestically and Talking Elephant Records in the UK.
