We are the Contreras family, Jason, Lorraine & Penelope. In 2016 we sold most of our belongings and left the city in southern California to start a small homestead in the mountains of North Carolina. We left the city in search for a more minimal and intentional life to live our passions and grow food! We became passionate about what we put into our bodies and how to care for our bodies after I (Jason) became diagnosed with cancer. Now 8 years in remission we as a family are on a journey to live our dream. We started YouTube videos to keep our family back out west up to date on our happenings, also to inspire others to live their dream and not be afraid of change! To show everyone our highs and lows on this incredible life changing journey!
