Stronger Seniors
Stronger Seniors® is a chair exercise workout program designed to increase strength, balance, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance in older adults. Workouts can be done seated, or standing, or both. The World Health Organization and the National Institute on Aging recommend 150 minutes per week of moderate exercise for older adults. Check with your healthcare provider before beginning any exercise program. Designed by certified fitness instructor Anne Pringle Burnell, Stronger Seniors® is suitable for people with diabetes, hypertension, obesity, heart disease, MS, COPD, Parkinson's, Arthritis, cancer, joint replacements pre/post surgery.
