The Barista League was created as a response to a need for more community-driven events in the specialty coffee industry. By considering the needs of our community and being conscious of the experience of everyone who attends, The Barista League has grown from a grassroots competition in the outskirts of a small Swedish city to one of the world’s most exciting and engaging coffee competitions. For the last 5 years The Barista League has been pushing the envelope of what a coffee event can and should do for its stakeholders. Recently, this has resulted in the production of digital events. The Barista League's physical and digital events alike intend to be relevant to everyone in our industry, from brand new baristas to world champions.
