Welcome to The Bite! Here, I will be sharing with you some of my favorite recipes; many of which are influenced by Mediterranean tastes or are inspired by my Middle Eastern heritage. Growing up in an Arab household, my fondest memories of home were created in the kitchen; memories like waiting for my mom's dough to rise for mini pizzas, sauteing meat with aromatic spices, smelling fresh herbs as they perfumed the house for three days while we patiently waited for them to dry on top of kitchen towels in the dining room, to the smell of toasted pine nuts that we would sprinkle atop of pretty much everything. These are the memories that shaped my palate and inspired me to start cooking from a young age. Although blends of savory Middle Eastern flavors often propel my excitement in the kitchen, I have a genuine love for global cuisine which you will discover on this channel.
