Welcome to What's Up Doctor? I am Dr. Michael Cohen, a qualified Family Medicine Specialist. I trained for many years in acute Medicine and Surgery, hold postgraduate examinations in Surgery and Emergency Medicine and was a ship’s surgeon too. My plan is to create videos in which I discuss and question various aspects of Medical ethics, therapies, innovations and research. I want to give you the tools to be able to think critically about health and disease. I will also discuss ways in which you may improve your overall health. Along the way, I will introduce behavioural tools, the roles of nutrition, exercise, supplements, prescription drugs and experimental treatments and I shall try to enlighten different aspects of the evolving medical field.
