Having had my hair in braids (meaning synthetic hair weaved in with my hair with constant tension on my edges without taking them all out at once for over 20 years,) my hair was damaged and brittle. Finally, I decided in 2016, it was time to remove the braids and wear my own hair. Going Natural inspired me to take better care of my body through fitness and diet.
